February 20 to 22 the Counter-Strike 2 PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 playoffs will be played, with Team Vitality highlighted as the clear favorite. Fresh off winning IEM Krakow, Team Vitality won all 3 of their group stage matches at PGL Cluj-Napoca.

PARIVISION reached the playoffs only after five matches, winning 2:1 against FUT in the decider. The team has been solid, but beating Falcons for the second time in a row will be extremely difficult.

PARIVISION will gain valuable experience playing on stage in front of a crowd, but Team Falcons should be the side that moves on to the semifinals.

MOUZ remains one of the most stable esports teams in the world and can beat almost any opponent except Team Vitality. In the group stage MOUZ comfortably defeated PARIVISION, Natus Vincere and FUT, with their only loss coming against Team Vitality.

Natus Vincere reached the playoffs only after five matches. In the final one they beat G2 2:0, but the performance was not convincing and there is not much room for optimism heading into the playoffs. In the group stage NaVi lost 0:2 to MOUZ and 1:2 to TheMongolz.

MOUZ is the clear favorite in this quarterfinal. The only real advantage for NaVi is the presence of Romanian player Mihai “iM“ Ivan, which means Natus Vincere will have strong support from the local crowd.

However, MOUZ has already proved many times that they can win in front of spectators and their level of play suggests that they should get a comfortable victory.

Team Vitality heads into the quarterfinal and the whole playoff bracket as a clear favorite. In the group stage they had some problems, dropping one map against G2 and one against TheMongolz, but Robin “ropz“ Kool was playing while sick.

Even so, Team Vitality still won all three matches and qualified for the playoffs via the fastest route, which also gives them a few extra days to rest.

Aurora lost to FUT and Natus Vincere in the group stage, and their wins came against paiN, B8 and Astralis. The opposition was not the strongest, they did their job, but not much is expected from Aurora in the playoffs. On top of facing the tournament favorite Team Vitality, Aurora almost never wins when playing on stage in front of a crowd.

Vitality cannot underestimate their opponent, but if they play their own game, they should get a comfortable win and move on to prepare for a potential semifinal against FURIA.

TheMongolz somewhat unexpectedly beat Natus Vincere and reached the quarterfinals. In the group stage they lost to Team Vitality, and besides the win over NaVi they also beat paiN and B8. Their opponents were not the strongest and all three wins came in tight 2:1 series.

FURIA reached the quarterfinals after victories over B8, FUT and PARIVISION. Their only loss was against Falcons. Traditionally FURIA tends to perform better in playoffs than in group stages, so the expectation is that they will show their best Counter-Strike so far at PGL Cluj-Napoca.

For TheMongolz just reaching the playoffs is already a good result. They will play without real pressure, but FURIA is not a good matchup for them in terms of map pool. TheMongolz has a chance mainly on Mirage, while FURIA is clearly stronger on Dust2, Inferno, Overpass and Nuke.

The 2026 Counter-Strike 2 PGL Cluj-Napoca final is most likely to feature Team Vitality vs Team Falcons. Both teams should play in the semifinals and will be favorites there.

MOUZ is also a contender for the final after beating both Falcons and FURIA in the IEM Krakow playoffs. FURIA is another serious contender, having lost only in the final to Vitality at IEM Krakow.

The Falcons vs MOUZ semifinal could go to a third map but judging by how strong Falcons have looked at this event, there is a high chance that they will be the team moving into the final, where their chances against Vitality will not be very high.

The odds for Falcons to reach the final are 1.75 and 3.50 for them to win the tournament. They have a very good chance to get to the final, but thinking about a title is realistic only if Vitality fails to reach the final.
