UFC Fight Night 272 Predictions (04-04-2026)

UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Duncan (also known as UFC Fight Night 272 and UFC Vegas 115) is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that will take place on April 4, 2026, at the Meta Apex in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Valley, United States.

A lightweight bout between former UFC Lightweight Championship challenger Renato Moicano and Chris Duncan is scheduled to headline the event.

After an unsuccessful debut in the UFC Robert Ruchala returns to the octagon this weekend and will be in search for his first win under promotion. He made the MMA headlines after becoming a well known KSW company’s interim champion and got signed in 2025.

Robert got a fight against a more experienced William Gomis who was 4-1 in the UFC at the time and lost via unanimous decision. Although the fight was fairly close on the feet, W.Gomis landed 2 out of 2 takedown attempts which likely won him a fight.

For Jose Delano this will be his UFC debut after he made a lot of noise in the LFA promotion and later got shot in the DWCS. He won a unanimous decision over Manuel Exposito and it was enough for him to earn the contract.

Delano is a favourite to win this fight according to reliable bookies, but his recent performances were not jaw dropping. Moreover, both men have similar strengths and well roundedness, so we should be in for a close fight which has a great chane to end in a decision.

Renato Moicano faces a tough time as he is now #10 ranked and is on a two fight losing streak. It seems like just recently he was on top and fought for the belt after putting up a winning streak from 2022 to 2024.

Yet, in the championship bout Islam Makhachev had no problems stopping the Brazilian in the first round with D’arce choke which might show that Moicano doesn’t belong to the very top of the chain. Later Renato fought B.Dariush as a heavy favourite, but lost via decision and dropped from the map.

Chris Duncan now lives his best time and has a wonderful opportunity to enter the rankings. The Scottish man is on 4 fights winning streak and beat a well respected new upcomers in J.Vucenic, M.Rebecki and Terrance McKinney. His last performance was arguably the most impressive as he got McKinney in the guillotine and got a first round finish.

Both men are elite grapplers and we should expect a scrappy fight on the ground and clinch positions. Yet, we should not necessarily see this fight going to the judges’ scorecards as both men showed that they are capable of finding a finish, especially C.Duncan who got the finish in 50% of his win.

Due to recent better performance, we are backing C. Duncan to win, with UFC bookmakers favoring him as he has all the tools to defend Moicano’s grappling and is in a strong position to win by decision or finish.
